HIPs high Co2 cost.

Just selling your home with HIPs can produce over 4000 tonnes of co2 pa.
By not having the Energy performance certificate element carried out by the Building society surveyor. That’s the equivalent  co2 emissions of over 500 homes.

The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, the Law Society, the National Association of Estate Agents and Which?, the consumer group, would all like to see the introduction of Hips postponed for a lot longer – or, preferably, cancelled altogether.
