Hips no legal definition

Ministers have admitted they do not have a legal definition of what constitutes a four-bedroom house or larger property.

Tory MPs warned of further chaos if estate agents and house sellers attempted to avoid the £300-£600 cost of a HIP by describing a fourth bedroom as a study or boxroom.

So from August 1st 2007, with no legal definition of what constitutes a 4 bedroom or larger property, why not describe your home as having several rooms and a small computer room, or just a large 3 bedroom home.

We propose that 4 bedroom homes and larger properties, no longer exist they are just homes with several rooms some of which may be bedrooms.

From August the 1st you could be HIP FREE saving you £300 to £600 plus, but more importantly, you do not have some barely qualified idiot clumping around your home counting light bulbs.
