It would appear that b&q are refusing to pay staff who because of the snow had problems getting to work…
This is rich from a company whose majority product lines in store are cheap Chinese made rubbish.
It would also seem that B&Q stores are running at 70 to 80% of budget.
That perhaps is the reason that staff are not being paid, for a situation beyond there control. Perhaps they can’t afford too.

Thanks for the headS up, my son works for B&Q and they are the worst payers, so this comes as no real surprise, that hardworking staff will not be paid if they could not get into to the store due to snow.
I would also like to say that the new uniforms, make the b&q staff look like idiots, with that bib worn over the jackets, what half wit dreamt that up…
Keep up the good work their is a need for a b&q forum so staff can let of steam against generally incompetent management.
Staff should be paid if due to extreme weather they cannot get into the store,
the half wit is ‘Martin Phillips’ one of the directors…it feels like your trust up like a turkey…you can tell he does no physical work during the day…what a dork!
